New, later deadline for artists interested in Warren County festival

The application deadline for artists interested in being a part of the FallFair Arts Festival has been extended to the end of August.

The 12th annual FallFair Arts Festival will be held on a new day this year, as organizers have moved the event from a Saturday to a Sunday.

The festival, presented by the Arts Alliance, will be held on Sept. 17 at Cottell Park, 5847 Irwin Simpson Road, Deerfield Twp., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deadline for artists to submit their applications is now Aug. 31.

The FallFair Arts Festival is held outside and artists are required to supply their own tents. Events proceed rain or shine, are free to the public and offer ample free parking.

Artists may enter in the following categories; ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, sculpture, mixed media, painting, wood, and photography. Artists are eligible to win prize money.

The event showcases between 50 and 100 local and regional fine arts and crafts artists. The application fee is $25. Once accepted, artists are required to pay an additional $75 booth space fee.

The event also features a children’s art making activity tent, performing artists, food vendors and this year, the guests will be able to purchase craft beer from the 16 Lots Brewery.
