'Ooey-gooey' fries now with gravy

Beef poutine cheese pub fries

When you think something can't get better you come spot ridiculously cheesy fries covered with brown gravy.

The Dublin Pub has outdone a local favorite with the beef poutine version of its epic cheese pub fries.

The beef poutine and a vegetarian style pub fries were added when the restaurant at 300 Wayne Ave. in Dayton's Oregon District changed its new menu a year ago, my server said.

Don't know how I missed them until now.

Like the original version, the poutine pub cheese fries are thick-cut french fries covered in melted on cheese mix.

Instead of white wine cheese sauce that comes with the originals, the poutine fries bathe in a savory beef gravy.

Instead of applewood bacon, there are big chunks of tender beef.

Yes, please.

The vegetarian version is like original version without the bacon of course. They come with peppers and onions.

All three are $9.99 for full orders.

I am told the veggie version is amazing with Dub Pub  chili.
