Les Moonves, the CEO of CBS Corporation, is facing an inquiry over allegations of sexual misconduct.

Moonves, whose full name is Leslie, has been with CBS for more than 20 years, starting with CBS Entertainment in 1995.

He is credited with the success of CBS

In his decades with CBS, Moonves has been part of the network's biggest TV successes, including "Survivor,"  "The Big Bang Theory" and "NCIS." Moonves also had a part in moving CBS to create original content exclusively for CBS All Access, the network's streaming service. Since joining CBS, he's worked to increase ratings on the network and improve its image.

He has been married twice

Married to Nancy Wiesenfeld from 1978 to 2004, Moonves married "Big Brother" host and then "Early Show" anchor Julie Chen in 2004. Moonves has three children -- Adam, Michael and Sara -- from his first marriage. He and Chen have one child together, a son named Charlie, who was born in 2009.

He makes millions

Already a highly-paid executive, Variety reported in 2016 that Moonves' salary increased from $56.8 million in 2015 to $69.6 million. His 2017 compensation only took a slight dip to $69.3 million, making him among the highest-paid executives.
