Beer popsicles, pickles at Dayton brewery

What better way to celebrate Dayton Beer Week than a cold, refreshing … beer popsicle?

Fifth Street Brewpub in Dayton is offering beer popsicles as part of a special beer-infused menu that is available through this Sunday, Aug. 27.

The frozen treats come in two flavors: Mint Cookie Stout, with a touch of milk; and Orange Saison 484.

Other beer-infused dishes include a JoJo's Stout gravy on a special burger; salmon filet topped with Deluge Pale Ale cherry sauce; Fritters topped with Mint Cookie Stout caramel sauce; Saison 484 beer-battered portobello mushrooms with Icebreaker IPA Caesar dressing; and a "Pickle Board" with Icebreaker IPA cucumber pickles, Deluge Pale Ale pickled egg, and Henry the Fifth Ginger Beer strawberry jam, served with brie wedges and bistro crackers.
