Each raffle will occur simultaneously in four liquor-agency stores across the state, including one in southwest Ohio, Jim Canepa, the superintendent of the state’s liquor-control agency, said in his “OHLQ Insiders Bulletin.” These one-night-only raffles provide the opportunity to purchase a bottle (or three-pack) of limited-supply bourbons.

And here’s what the Canepa’s OHLQ Insiders Bulletin said about the Four Roses 130th Anniversary bourbon:

“Bottled at barrel strength, the remarkably balanced 130th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch introduces warm aromas of rich vanilla and crème brulee, mingled with ripe berries. Bright apricot flavors greet the palate, then give way to hints of mint, cinnamon, apple and mellow oak. The finish is very long, with notes of more fruit, vanilla and cinnamon.”
