Bust out your denim and get ready to learn about your -- wait for it -- genes.

This Friday, March 10, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is hosting a one-of-a-kind cocktail party, "What's in your Genes?"

Popular adult beverages, science experiments, live music, a dance floor, raffle drawings and more await guests at this year's Eureka! event.

This will be a denim-themed occasion, so channel your inner Justin Timberlake or Britney Spears. Denim suits, denim ties, jean ensembles: all are fair game for Eureka! bragging rights and prizes.

“You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more entertaining, fun way to spend an evening while contributing to an outstanding cause,” said Dona Vella, Vice President of Development and External Relations.

Event proceeds will benefit the Boonshoft Museum’s educational programs and activities.

The theme might be “What’s in your genes?” but the real question will be “What’s ON your jeans?”

This year, winners will be chosen based on creativity. So, bedazzle, add patches, and paint away. Awards will also be given for the Best Jeans Couple.
