Celebrate Mardi Gras early this weekend with ‘Threauxdown’ at Yellow Cab

Creole cuisine. A parade. Live music.

Grab your beads and masks for the Mardi Gras Threauxdown at Yellow Cab Tavern on Friday, March 1.

Wolf Moon Revival & the Eclipse Krewe, a 12-person collaboration featuring local musicians, headlines the show.

Phil’s Big Ass Brass Band will lead a pre-show parade. Participating musicians include Sharon Lane, Eric Henry, Trey Stone, Khrys Blank and Rich Reuter.

Creole cuisine including red beans and rice and gumbo will be served by Camp Heard (which provides food at the Miami Valley Music Festival). Dayton Beer Company is the beer sponsor.

There will also be tarot card readings, a photo booth and a 50/50 raffle.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $10.

6 P.M. — Doors Open at Yellow Cab

7 P.M.  — Brass Band Parade leaves Yellow Cab parking lot

8 P.M.  — Phil's Big Ass Brass Band !

9 P.M. — Wolf Moon Revival and the Eclipse Krewe
