The first half of the Rose show duo is the music giant responsible for the hit song, “I’m Every Woman.”

According to Spotify, McDonald, with his husky soulful baritone, became one of the most distinctive and popular vocalists to emerge from the laid-back California pop/ rock scene of the late ‘70s. His hits, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Doobie Brothers, include “What a Fool Believes,” “I Keep Forgettin’” and “Minute by Minute.”

McDonald’s most recent full-length album of new material, Wide Open, continues to receive extensive critical praise from the Los Angeles Times, NPR Music, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and many more, according to a Rose Music Center press release.
