Miss Hara Arena? Now you can own a piece of it

Still reminiscing about your favorite show or sporting event at the now closed Hara Arena? Now you have a chance to own a piece of it.

The venue’s announced it will host an “odds and ends” sale tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and again on Saturday morning from 9 until noon. An assortment of equipment—sporting, concession and otherwise—will be available, along with office supplies, seasonal decorations, lockers, and much more.

Hara officials will also host an “everything but the house” sale online sometime next month. Dates for that sale have yet to be announced.

Sports equipment, like these hockey nets, will be among the many odds and ends available for purchase at the sale. (Contributed)

Hara Arena closed its doors Aug. 27 after more than 60 years of hosting events. The loss is expected to mean a $36 million annual impact to the community.
