Dayton bakery to host 'Santa & Cupcakes' event Friday

Moore Dessert Please at 1003 Shroyer Road in Dayton will host a "Santa and Cupcakes" event from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2.

There is no admission charge, and no reservations are necessary. Santa will make an appearance; kids and adults can have their picture taken with Mr. Claus.

The event will include special promotions, a chance to win free cupcakes, a hot-chocolate bar, a Toys for Tots collection box, and a full selection of both regular and holiday-themed sweets will be available for purchase. Local food truck The Drunken Waffle will be on hand to serve dinner.

There will also be a Toys for Tots drop box and a mailbox for kids to bring their wish lists and letters to Santa.

The bakery is located in south Dayton/Patterson Park area near the Dayton-Oakwood line.
