Dayton Beer Company and Coco’s teaming up for dinner at new event space tonight

Coco's Bistro has a new venue space upstairs called The Plate.

Coco's is planning a dinner tonight, March 25, at The Plate that will showcase the new event space. The six-course meal prepared and envisioned by Chef Bryan Ondre will be paired with six beers from The Dayton Beer Company and accompanied by a Motown soundtrack.

The menu for the DBC beer dinner looks delish:

• Cloak & Dagger IPA served with a beet salad made with Beet, orange segments, goat cheese, garlic and orange gastrique

• Oregon Alley IPA served with a fish empanada dressed with aioli

• Gem City Lager served with a lemon sorbet palate cleanser

• Beast of Tadmor Doppelbock served with ribeye with Oh Canada rub, broccoli/spinach puree and charred broccoli florets

• Midnight Dreamy Raspberry Stout served with a raspberry chipotle rubbed braised pork shoulder, pan jus, crispy spätzle garnish

• Peanut butter gelato float with a pour of Deep Sea Diving Stout

The restaurant notes that some minor ingredients could be subject to change.

“Coco’s is excited to share The Plate, our newly renovated event space on our second floor. We can accommodate up to 100 of your best friends in this space," said Karen Wick-Gagnet, Coco’s co-owner.
