Guests will experience the delights of Dayton in Prohibition-themed roaring fun. While we can’t reveal all the details (you’ll have to join us!) but here’s a quick list of what you’ll see at this bash:
• Artists and tattoo artists
• Appearances from Dayton celebrities and personalities
• Food samples from beloved Dayton vendors on the sweet to savory spectrum
• Cash bar with wine, beer and specialty cocktails

“It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with our community,” said Dayton.com manager Ashley Bethard. “We’ve gotten so many great story ideas from our readers, and we also get a better sense of what matters to Dayton. All of this makes for a better Dayton.com.”
New for this year’s event is an exclusive VIP section, which will offer guests early entry, appetizers, a torch singer, comedians, a speakeasy lounge and souvenirs – and yes, a password is required.
Tickets for the event are available on Eventbrite.com. General admission tickets are on sale for $14 (plus fees) and VIP tickets are on sale for $22, plus fees.
“There is so much positive momentum in our city – people are moving downtown; new businesses are opening in our core and people are exploring more of Dayton to find these businesses,” said Rob Rohr, Cox Media Group Ohio Market Vice President. “The Dayton.com Best of Dayton event is one of my favorites because it creates a unique opportunity to bring some of the best local businesses together with people looking for new ways to enjoy Dayton — and it’s one heck of a party!”
Winners of Dayton.com’s Best of 2017 poll will be announced online the next day, Jan. 18, 2018.
Last year’s event sold out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to get tickets and join the fun!
