Demand incredibly high for Dave Chappelle's Juke Joint in Yellow Springs

Tickets to Dave Chappelle's “juke joint” Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9 on in Yellow Springs are sold out.

EARLIER: Dave Chappelle and company are getting ready to funk up Yellow Springs again.

The internationally-known comedian will host his "juke joint" Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9 on a the Barn On Whitehall Farms/ Tecumeh Land Trust, 4625 US 68 in Yellow Springs.

Gates open at 7 p.m. both nights and the party starts at 8 p.m. and goes "until."

Tickets are limited and go on sale starting at noon Wednesday, October 5 on BrownPaperTickets.

General admission is $75 each day. VIP is $100. There is a $10 parking fee that must be paid in advance.

Chappelle lives on a farm just outside of the village and is often seen around town. He's brought shows to Yellow Springs in the past, including a bash at Whitehall Farm last year.

"This is not a show per se, this is a (explicit) juke joint," Chappelle said.

The juke joint night in a "working barn" night features DJ D-Nice and musical performance from Frederic Yonnet & The Band With No Name.

The Prince quote "bring your foot spray cause it's gonna get funky," is included in a poster for the party.

Chappelle is a big fan of the late musical legend.

As at most parties at Prince's Paisley Park Records, no cell phones or cameras will be allowed at Dave Chappelle's Juke Joint.

Attendees encouraged not to wear heels and to dress comfortable, because come on, the show is on a farm.
