Don’t miss your chance to go on a march of the penguins

You can stroll with the penguins at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Zoo admission is half-price through early March.

If you have marching with penguins on your bucket list, now is your chance.

Beginning Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, visitors to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden can stroll along with king penguins twice daily Friday through Monday.

Dress warmly because the weather must be below 50 degrees for the penguins to waddle from the Wings of the World bird house to the Children’s Zoo.

There are also plenty of places to stay warm at the zoo and learn about other animals including insects, bonobos and manatees and watch gorillas explore their new habitat.

There will also be special animal encounters on Saturday and Sunday.

From now until March 8, admission to the zoo is half price.
