RESCHEDULED: Free ice skating event at RiverScape moved to next week due to weather

UPDATED at 2:13 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12:

Due to the threat of serious weather, including a wintry mix and snow, UpDayton’s free ice skating event at RiverScape has been rescheduled.

Originally, the event was planned for Friday, Jan. 12. An email from UpDayton informed us that the event has been postponed. The new date is Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.

UpDayton is hosting free ice skating at RiverScape MetroPark, 237 E. Monument Ave., in downtown Dayton.

The event runs from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12. To get free skate rental, tell the RiverScape staff members at the rental window that you’re with UpDayton.

UpDayton is an organization that seeks to spur economic growth in the Dayton region by attracting and retaining young creative talent. UpDayton wants to show young adults that the Gem City is a great place to live, work and play.
