The Fairborn ice cream shop Jubie's Creamery will celebrate its first birthday with an all-day party on Friday, July 5.
The shop at 471 W. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, co-founded by 2017 Ohio State University graduate Julie Domicone, will offer prizes, emoji cones, T-shirts, hats, specialty sundaes, a flavor contest and more from noon to 10 p.m. Friday.

Jubie’s Creamery is located in a building that had been vacant for several years. It previously housed Mekong Vietnamese restaurant, which closed nearly a decade earlier, Fairborn city officials have said.
