Be sure to set your alarm, and get there early for a good viewing spot, the parade starts promptly at 9:55 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 3.

“Your best bet is to park on the west side of Far Hills Ave, and come up Stroop.” says event planer Sean Bohn. “There will be signs up for parking in the residential neighborhoods.”

You’ll find parking at Fairmont High School and Van Buren Middle School. There is on-street parking throughout the area, which will be clearly noted with signs. Bohn notes there is very limited parking near the 500 buildings across from the Fraze. But don’t worry - anywhere you can’t park, you’ll see a sign stating it clearly.

The parade includes units from civic groups, high school music programs, service organizations, car clubs and our honored veterans from various branches of the military. The Holiday at Home Scholarship Winners will take their honored place in the parade, The Grand Marshal honoree will join the parade as well.
