It’s a fiesta! El Meson to host a two-day Cinco De Mayo celebration

El Meson is planning a two-day Cinco De Mayo celebration this weekend — and food trucks, live music and dancing will be part of the fun.

“Cinco De Mayo has become a fun annual tradition for us,” Bill Castro, owner of El Meson, said. “Expanding outside of the restaurant, we get our food trucks involved out in the parking lot with some of our favorite local musicians to keep the party going!”

On Saturday the party will be held from 5 - 11 p.m. Live music from Ithika will be from 6-8:30 p.m. and Velvet Crush will perform from 9 - 11 p.m.

On Sunday brunch will be served from noon – 3 p.m. with Rust performing at the same time and Nothing But Treble performing from 3:30-7 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on site or online. VIP tickets are $35 a day and include a private bar. They can be reserved online.

Private rooms are also available for both days by contacting Bill Castro at elmeson@aol.com.
