Area businesses battle it out to the Bloody (Mary) end

Fifteen Dayton-area bars and restaurants duked it out for the title of Best Bloody Mary at the Montgomery Count Fairgrounds in Dayton, Jan. 15. In reality, the competition was much more civil than you might expect, with proceeds from the event going to the Greater Dayton LGBT Center through the Planned2Give organization.

This year's event came down to a two-way tie between last year's winner, Mack's Tavern, and Vue Ultra Lounge, both of Centerville. First-time entrant, Old Scratch Pizza of Dayton, took third place.
