Street food, live music and edible cookie dough will all be found Friday, March 16, at the season kickoff of The Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies.
It’s the launchpad for food truck season, where Daytonians come together for delicious street food and local beer.
“We do winter fun well here in Dayton, but planning the first Food Truck Rally of the year is always exciting,” Brian Johnson, organizer of Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies said. “Just thinking about opening up the Yellow Cab’s bay doors, live music coming out of the speakers, and the smell of gourmet street food in the air while you’re waiting in line for something new and amazing to eat is so much fun.”

With a rotating lineup of food trucks, The Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies offer beer, free live music and The Night Market, which has delicious spices, jams and produce, artisan bathing products, handmade toys and decorations and countless other locally made goods.
“Eating is just part of what you can do at a Yellow Cab Food Truck Rally,” Johnson said. “With family or friends, we want it to feel more like a street festival with a great selection of food, drinks, and locally made goods and gifts for you to check out while listening to some great Dayton music.”
Brunch! A Food Truck Rally is also back this season with the first event happening on Sunday, April 8, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Featuring breakfast cocktails and more, these events happen every first Sunday of the month through September.
