Fresh from ‘Boat Show’ success, Yellow Springs Brewery to unveil new IPA

Yellow Springs Brewery, which two months ago generated a strong and positive response to the release of its Boat Show IPA, will host a can release event for another IPA this Saturday, Oct. 21.

The new brew is called Noodle Burner Northeast IPA, and it will be available in limited quantities in four-packs of 12-ounce cans starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at the YSB taproom at 305 Walnut St. in Yellow Springs. The beer, first brewed in early 2017, will retail for $10 per four-pack.

The Gem City has had a long love affair with beer. The beverage has been part of our history as far back as the early 1800s. Today the area is flush with new breweries - more than a dozen have opened in the last five years.

A brewery release said the beer — which has 7.5 percent alcohol by volume — “pours hazy due to copious amounts of hops and a yeast strain that pushes fruity esters to the maximum. Low bitterness and a soft mouthfeel combine to create a super juicy unfiltered IPA experience.”
