The 1920s-themed Dayton History Fight Night pits two teams of men and women boxers -- the red corner and the black corner -- against one another in the historic venue. Proceeds from the event will go to non-profit organization Dayton History.

Memorial Hall has seen many a fight since its opening in 1910, with legends like Jack Dempsy and Muhammad Ali dishing out blows beneath its lights.

Though the upcoming matches will feature the lesser-knowns in the annals of boxing lore, they promise to be no less competitive. The competitors, most of whom are experienced in organized fighting, have spent the better part of the last three months training for this event.
