Last Friday night Yellow Cab food truck event of the season doubles as a birthday celebration

All good things must come to an end.  

And least until next year.  

The final Friday night monthly Yellow Cab Food Truck Rally of the 2019 season will double as a birthday bash for one of Dayton’s newest food trucks.

Billie Gold’s Birthday Bash will take place in conjunction with the rally on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Yellow Cab Tavern in Dayton from 5-10 p.m.

“Food trucks are great for being able to offer what we want, whether we knew it before or not,” said Brian Johnson, organizer of Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies, in a press release. “Billie Gold’s Bubble Tea has been an awesome addition to our Rallies this season and we’re happy to host their first-ever birthday bash.”

With a rotating lineup of food trucks, The Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies offer beer, free live music and The Night Market, which has delicious spices, jams and produce, artisan bathing products, handmade toys and decorations and countless other locally made goods.

The Rolling Indulgence food truck was initially created for the Food Network show "The Great Food Truck Race," but now it is a reality.

Billie Gold will be raffling off free bubble tea for life and is inviting its friends from Cloak and Dagger Tattoos for a gift card raffle and bubble tea flash piece tattoos.  

“We’ve got a DJ starting at 8 p.m. and The Yellow Cab’s bar is also going to be offering boozy bubble teas,” Johnson said. “This will be a great way to send off 2019’s food truck season!”
