1) WYSO SERIOUS 🤣

WYSO-91.3 (FM) is known for news and music but the staff at the Yellow Springs-based Public Radio Station knows it's important to cut loose on occasion. Which brings us to WYSO Serious? at Memorial Hall, 125 E. First St., Dayton, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 7. The third annual spring gala features comedic performances by the Rubi Girls and WYSO staff members, plus hors d'oeuvres from Christopher's Restaurant and a cocktail hour with music from DJ Basim Blunt. 2) JIMMIE "JJ" WALKER  😂

Jimmie "JJ" Walker, the man who entered the word 'dynomite" into the pop culture lexicon, was a breakout star on the CBS sitcom "Good Times" in the 1970s. Despite his success, he always remained dedicated to his first love: stand-up comedy. Today, the 70-year-old comic is in high demand. Walker returns to town for a run at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 88 Plum St., The Greene, Beavercreek, Thursday through Sunday, April 5 through 8. 3) CHRIS D'ELIA  😆

Chris D'Elia isn't a household name but he has a growing presence as a comedian and actor. His diverse credits include the NBC sitcom, "Undateable," the Netflix horror comedy film, "Little Evil," and stand-up specials "Man on Fire" and "Incorrigible." D'Elia, currently out on his Follow the Leader 2018 Tour, performs at Victoria Theatre, 138 N. Main St., Dayton, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14. Cost: $37-$77. 4) CHRIS KATTAN  😹

Chris Kattan is best known for his time as cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1995 to 2003. However, he had a recurring role on the ABC sitcom, "The Middle," and done voice work on animated programs like "Bunnicula." Kattan is on the road for some spring stand-up dates, including a one-nighter at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 88 Plum St., The Greene, Beavercreek, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. Cost: $25. 5) DAN FRIGOLETTE  😜

Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour hits South Park Tavern, 1301 Wayne Ave., Dayton, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11. New York-based comic Dan Frigolette, whose credits include "Boardwalk Empire" and the "Artie Lange Show," will headline. He's joined by special guest Mia Faith Hammond will be joined by local comics.
