Local winery offers back-to-school special for teachers

Teachers need a little tender loving care this time of year, and a Greene County winery is stepping up to provide it.

"This weekend and next weekend, all teachers will receive complementary chocolates with their wine purchase while supplies last!" Caesar Creek Vineyards, located in New Jasper Twp. between Xenia and Jamestown, said on its Facebook page. "You can also get a free stemless glass with the purchase of four bottles of wine. You can unwind after your first week of school with chocolate and wine! Parents are welcome too!"

The offer is good from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday Aug. 17-18 and Aug. 24-25.

Caesar Creek Vineyards opened in 2013, producing wines from grapevines that co-founder Walter Borda started planting on the property in 2005.
