Restaurant's special kayak adventure is perfect for local food and beer lovers

Whitewater Warehouse, Mudlick Tap House and SweetWater Brewing Company are teaming up this summer to present some unique opportunities to get to know the Miami and Mad rivers a little bit better.

It's a perfect outdoor adventure option for beer lovers with an appetite. Here are all the details:

🛶🍺Mudlick Tap House Floats 

July 10 and Aug. 7 

Mudlick Tap House and Whitewater Warehouse will be partnering this summer for 90-minute guided kayaking tours on the Mad River as they show off the Gem City from different views. Enjoy paddling by the light of the setting sun and experience the urban landscape from Eastwood MetroPark to Riverscape River Run.

No paddling experience or equipment is required. Kayak rental will be available or you are welcome to bring your own. After the float, everyone is welcome to head back to Mudlick for an evening pint and a bite to eat. Food and drink is not included in the ticket price.

Sit back, relax and watch the sunset over the Gem City in a way you probably have never done before. Enjoy paddling by the light of the setting sun and experience the urban landscape from Eastwood MetroPark to Riverscape River Run.

Kayak rental and transportation: $45 

Includes instruction, rental, life jacket, paddle, safety briefing and shuttle service to launch point

Transportation and livery service: $20 

For those bringing their own kayaks, you may drop off your equipment at the Eastwood Metro Park launch point as early as 5 p.m. Whitewater Warehouse will be there as a security measure to watch over equipment. They will also help you with any unloading. You are welcome to park near the takeout point and head over to the Tap House to board the shuttle at 5:30 p.m. to head back up to launch at 6 p.m.

🛶Mad River Park and Play 

July 17 and Aug. 14 

Head over to Eastwood MetroPark to explore paddling under the Great Miami River fountains and the River Run whitewater feature. You don’t need your own kayak to enjoy the region’s waterways. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) will be available for rent from Whitewater Warehouse. After some time on the water, head over to the Tap House for a bite and a pint.

Join Whitewater Warehouse as they educate and teach attendees to safely navigate and enjoy the rapids downtown.
