Mudlick Tap House gets the party started with a New Year’s Eve “boozy brunch” that includes mimosas and the bar’s epic Bloody Mary Bar.

• Scallops - Pan-seared sea scallops on butternut squash puree and arugula finished with apple-bacon marmalade and sage oil

Channel a little bit of the Times Square atmosphere this New Year’s Eve at Austin Landing. Live music from Stranger and Party with a Purpose benefiting The Pink Ribbon Girls. There will be fireworks and a live ball drop. Food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase from food trucks. Free champagne toast for ages 21+. ✨ FOA Party with a Purpose

Families of Addicts is partnering with community members for a New Year’s Eve celebration that includes vision board crafts,  beginners yoga, music and a “Purpose Spark class focusing on deepening connection with self and community. 

Light refreshments will be served. The event is open to adults and children.

Lily’s Bistro will celebrate the flavors of the French Riviera during its special New Year’s Eve dinner. 

The evening includes a champagne toast at midnight and wine and cocktail specials all night. A five-course prix fixe meal will be $59 per person, plus tip and tax.

✨ Retro New Year’s Eve Party at DK Effect

The bar and arcade invites you to party like it’s 1982 at this retro party. The year is considered the “golden year” for arcade games, with the release of  Dig Dug, Donkey Kong Jr., Burger Time, Ms Pac-Man, Super Pac Man, Q*Bert and Tron.

✨ New Year’s Eve: The Grand Tour 

Dayton Ballet, Dayton Opera and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra presents this special program to celebrate the arrival of 2018 with music, song, dance and a balloon drop at the end. 

Seats should be reserved early, as New Year’s Eve with the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance nearly sells out every year. 

The Schuster Center New Year’s Eve traditions that revelers have come to love and anticipate will again be part of the evening’s festivities: delicious food-by-the-bite in the Wintergarden beforehand, a flute of champagne at intermission, and a colorful climactic balloon drop

✨ Yellow Springs Ball Drop and Little Art Theatre Party

Can't get to New York City for the ball drop this year? Yellow Springs should be a bit more manageable with its annual ball-drop celebration in front of the Little Art.

The Little Art promises the best seats for the event, along with music from Devil's Backbone and a special showing of the 2008 film “Mamma Mia!” starring Meryl Streep. 

Admission to the Little Art party is $25 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres. NYE Punch, craft beer, wine and other spirits will be sold.

Scene75 New Year’s Eve Bash

Scene 75 will welcome 2018 with a balloon drop and champagne or sparking cider toast at midnight. There are tons of things to do from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., including go-karting, Ohio’s first virtual reality arcade, laser tag and so many games in the game room. The event is for people of all ages. 

The New Year’s festivities begin at 9 p.m. For adults, there is a bar in the center of the arcade, along with dining areas to enjoy a nice meal.
