The museum's annual Eureka! Sip, Savor, Science fundraiser, held Saturday, March 10, is an upscale party with cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres created to support programs at the museum. This year, the theme of the night is Pick Your Poison.

Fables about poison, potions and magic from around the world will be uncovered during science experiments performed during the party, to reveal how poison has been used as a weapon for centuries. Boonshoft’s Discovery Zoo crew will even be there to demonstrate the lethality of nature’s venom.

Hailing from Columbus, DJ Dayna will be keeping the magic going throughout this "one-of-a-kind adult evening that will expand your science knowledge while you mix and mingle at Dayton's most entertaining cocktail party," according to Eureka's website.

Reservations include a welcome cocktail and two drink tickets. All-inclusive VIP reservations are also available.
