It goes without saying that kittens are cute. However, that doesn’t mean the kittens on the more mature side don’t need as many head scratches and as much love.

SICSA Pet Adoption Center in Kettering is attempting to level the playing field for cats trying to be adopted this summer by temporarily waiving adoption fees during the "Real Housecats" of SICSA promotion.

Fees will be waived on adoptions of all cats one-year and older from Monday, June 25th through Tuesday, July 3rd during SICSA's regular business hours: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Anyone checking out the adoptable kittens during the even will also be able to visit with the adoptable dogs who are currently waiting for loving homes as well.

“Adopters have the opportunity to go home with a fantastic cat that is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and micro chipped,” said Jessie Sullivan, Director of Adoption and Placement Services at SICSA. “We invest a lot of time, money, and care into each of the animals at our facility, so adopters looking to add an adult cat to their family should definitely take advantage of this great, limited-time offer of fee-waived cat adoptions.”
