Do you often find yourself sitting next to someone who always complains about how people sing the National Anthem before sporting events? The Dayton Dragons are giving them the chance to put their vocal chords to the test with the team’s 18th Annual National Anthem Tryouts.

Pre-registration is currently underway at the Dragons’ website , with the first 200 entrants receiving a scheduled try-out time. Anyone registering once the spots have been filled will still have the opportunity to audition on a standby basis.

The Dayton Mall had a large turn out for auditions to sing the National Anthem at the Dragons game.

Those interested in registering as a standby performer must attend the audition event Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Dayton Mall. The event will be judged by local media personalities, city officials and community leaders.

For more information, contact the Dayton Dragons at (937) 228-2287 or by email at dragons@daytondragons.com.
