Sideshow art and music festival showcases talents from all backgrounds

It’s Sideshow time once again. The free event showcasing local art and music talent will return to Yellow Cab Tavern over Memorial Day weekend.

This event will be the biggest Sideshow yet with sculpture, painting, music, performers, dancers, food trucks, local brews, photography and more. It will also feature a special Kid’s Sideshow portion.

Tara Moore is one of the artists who will display her talent during the weekend, and she spoke about the importance of the event.

“Sideshow has come to mean so much to this community,” she said. “Every year there is something new to experience and this year is no different.”

The two-day special event is run by volunteers, and is paid for by fundraisers and donations. Over the years, Sideshow has become a hub for artists of different media and different skills looking to show off their talents. The goal of this unique bash is to create an environment that sparks creativity for those who participate and those who attend.
