“Bring the family, especially your delicious children.”

You have not misread anything.

Krampus is coming to town. Krampus is “a horned, anthropomorphic figure described as ‘half-goat, half-demon’ who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas,” according to Wikipedia.

Krampus is making a rare public appearance in Fairborn.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Krampus will be taking free photos with families, naughty children and any secret fans of Krampus at The Secret Chamber House of Oddities and Artwork. Photos will be uploaded to the business’ Facebook page, and participants will be able to “steal, copy and tag” as much as they wish. The event is free, however, tips and donations are encouraged to support art.
