Is there anything more fun and entertaining than a lip sync battle?
What if that battle was between your favorite local breweries? Okay -- things just got way more interesting.
Trolley Stop is hosting another lip sync battle, this round featuring beer reps facing off to benefit a charity. Trolley’s first lip sync battle was held in January, and featured local participants.
“It was awesome -- lots of fantastic contestants who really gave their all,” said Robin Sassenberg, owner of Trolley Stop.
The lineup in this lip sync battle will include Yellow Springs Brewery, Warped Wing, North High Brewery and MadTree Brewing.
Each team, represented by different brewery beer reps, has a charity they represent. Yellow Springs Brewery, for example, will be syncing their hearts out for Wounded Warrior Project. The winning team donates a cash prize to the charity of their choice.
“We’ll be accepting cash donations during the event for the selected charities. This is definitely a night beer lovers won’t want to miss,” said Suzy Switzer, head of the event at Trolley Stop.
In addition to the battle, there will be drink specials ($3 IPA drafts, can specials and more) as well as a preview of the brand new cocktail menu to be released May 1.
