2. THE BEST NYE EVENTS NEAR DAYTON

Looking to ring in the new year with a bang?

One of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Dayton will be at Austin Landing. Events will take place at Bar145/Reset and at Bar Louie.

The Yellow Cab Tavern in Dayton will hold its own Rockin NYE Ball Drop featuring Big Wazu and Team Void and guest emcee Zac Pitts of Living Dayton.

Miamisburg is hosting the very first Star Drop at Star City Brewing Company.

3. NYE EVENTS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Looking for a New Year’s Eve celebration fit for the whole family?

Scene 75 will welcome 2019 with a balloon drop at 2 p.m. for the kids and at 12 a.m. for everyone, and champagne or sparkling cider toast at midnight. There are tons of things to do, starting at 11 a.m., including go-karting.

The Harlem Globetrotters are back in town for their annual game at the Nutter Center.

RiverScape is planning a special New Year’s Eve skate running from 11 a.m. through 10 p.m. tonight at their covered ice rink.
