Clinton County Fair, 8 a.m., Clinton County Fairgrounds, 958 W. Main Street, Wilmington. Enjoy eight days of action in July with live entertainment, harness racing, an antique tractor pull and a demolition derby. If you enjoy animals, be sure to catch the Junior and Senior Fair Shows of cattle, sheep, hogs, rabbits, chickens, horses and pets. Discover what a great county fair is like.

Walk and Talk Book Club: July, 9 a.m., Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District, 2751 Washington Mill Rd., Bellbrook. A book club designed for those that love to read as well as enjoy fresh air on a light hike. Each month we will meet to discuss the current book we are reading while walking through the wooded and prairie trails at Sweet Arrow Reserve. We will exercise both our minds and bodies. July's book: Wild by Cheryl Strayed. Minimum of 5 participants required.

The Mall at Fairfield Commons Celebrates the Joy of Reading with Monthly Summer Reading Series, 10:30 a.m., The Mall at Fairfield Commons, 2727 Fairfield Commons Dr., The Mall at Fairfield Commons is celebrating the joy of reading by welcoming kids of all ages to Bubbles' Reading Circle, the KidX Club's free summer reading series. As part of the interactive series, which is sponsored by Creative World of Montessori, kids will have the chance to discover a new story every month and enjoy creating a craft that celebrates the theme of the book. In addition, each child will also receive two free books of their choice, while supplies last.

Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan. Nick Carraway, a newcomer to Long Island, is drawn into their world of obsession, greed and danger. Directed by Sara Duibley. Needed: 5 men, 4 women. Show dates are Sept. 9-18, 2016.
