Local NFL fans have had several months to lick their wounds and get back into the spirit of cheering their favorite football team on. One local bar is throwing a huge bash to celebrate the birth of the new season next month.

The Wandering Griffin, located at 3725 Presidential Drive across from Wright State University, is hosting an all-day party, Sunday, Sept. 10. Things will kick off at 9 a.m., with live music and a kegs-and-eggs breakfast special starting at 11 a.m. until kickoff. There will also be games of corn hole, giant Jenga and beer pong in the parking lot.

"We're fencing off our parking lot and making a whole day of it," Brian Young, partner in Wandering Griffin said. "Whatever your team, we'll have a TV and a cold beer waiting for you."

Games will be shown on outdoor TVs with a state-of-the-art sound system, as well as a 120-inch projector screen.
