Some of President Josiah Bartlet's most trusted advisors from "The West Wing" may knock on your door this weekend.

Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Joshua Malina and Mary McCormack and Dayton's very own Allison Janney (AKA Toby, Josh, Charlie, Will, Kate and C.J.) will canvass Dayton for Democratic Presidential hopeful  Hillary Clinton.

The cast is campaigning for Clinton throughout the state, stopping in the Mahoning Valley, Cleveland, Sandusky and Toledo areas on Saturday and Sunday in Dayton and Columbus.

The local event starts at 9:45 a.m. at Clinton's headquarters at 34 E. First St., Dayton.

DAYTON IN THE WEST WING
Daytonians were all over the West Wing, an award-winning political drama that  aired on NBC 1999 to 2006. Dayton native Martin Sheen played fictional President Bartlet.

Locally-raised actor Rob Lowe played White House deputy communications director.

Janney, a seven-time Emmy Award winner The Miami School alum, played White House Press Secretary C.J. Cregg on the show. The Cregg character was raised Catholic and from Dayton.

Neither Lowe nor Sheen are among cast members listed as participants in the Clinton event on Sunday.
