Food truck events are in full swing — and we are excited. There’s no better way to sample some of Dayton’s finest mobile eateries than at food truck rallies/events.

Here are the latest details for upcoming food truck rallies in Dayton.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7

Centerville Food Truck Hub

TIME: 5 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: 1033 S. Main St., Centerville

TRUCKS: Hunger Paynes Food Truck, Thai1On, Dayton Urban BBQ, Chicago Gyros and Dogs Beavercreek and Shantz Express

INFO: This kicks off seasonal food truck rallies in Centerville through September. There will be live music. Bring your own seating.

Sideshow 13, a free show of art and music for all ages, took place at the Yellow Cab Tavern in Dayton on Friday and Saturday, May 25 and 26. Taco vs. Taco food truck rally

TIME: 5 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: 700 E. Fourth St., Dayton

TRUCKS: Latin Arepas food truck vs. El Meson food truck

FRIDAY, JUNE 8

3rd annual Taco Truck Takeover

TIME: 5-10 p.m.

WHERE: 700 E. Fourth St., Dayton

TRUCKS: Best bite contest at 7 p.m. in which each truck will submit one composed taco for judging. Participants include: The Wicked 'Wich of Dayton, Hunger Paynes Food Truck, The Painted Pepper, The Drunken Waffle, Greek Street Food Truck and Smokinbeebeeq. Craft beers, dessert trucks and music as well.
