Dayton is home to some mighty fine sandwich creations. But which one deserves the crown?

We asked the public to nominate their favorite sandwiches on Dayton menus. Those with the most nominations now appear on the ballot, which is up for vote through Friday, Feb. 7.

The reigning champ from the 2018 contest is Canal Street Arcade and Deli’s The Champ, a sandwich stacked with grilled roast beef, corned beef, baby Swiss, horseradish cheddar, sauteed red onion, banana peppers and Thousand Island dressing on hot-pressed bread.
