2nd Street Market in Dayton: Best of Dayton 2018 winner

This year, Best of Dayton voters decided that a beloved gathering place, the 2nd Street Market, was worthy of two awards.

The downtown market won the best farmers market and best place for unique gifts in the Shopping & Services category.

More than 50 vendors fill a historical freight house in Dayton with everything from fresh meat, eggs, breads, cheeses and chocolate.

As voters declared, the market is the perfect spot to find the perfect gift.

Socks, scarves and rugs made from alpaca fleece, hand-made pottery and gifts from a garden shop are just a sampling of the special items that can be found.
