“I am so proud of our team for the collaborative effort they have shown in providing innovative programming during this unprecedented time,” she continued. “Our mission has been and continues to be to transform lives with the power of music and dance, and we will continue to find a way to do just that, even if we cannot all be together in person in our venues right now.”
“The performing arts are essential to our lives – to unite, to soothe, to heal, to entertain – and our dancers, singers, and musicians could not be happier to get back to doing what they love and sharing that passion with our community.”

This summer concert series is a wonderful way to experience the Dayton Philharmonic, Dayton Opera and Dayton Ballet, since the coronavirus has forced theaters to close down for end of their 2019-2020 season. The closure has affected the DPAA greatly due to lost revenue from cancelled events.
If you have a ticket to a canceled performance, the organization would greatly appreciate donating your ticket by contacting their box office at 937-228-3630.
Additionally, the DPAA has received a generous matching grant for up to $10,000 for any donations made during the month of June. To make a donation to the DPAA visit: https://daytonperformingarts.org/donate/
