Take our poll: Who’s your favorite in Dayton’s chicken competition?

The Dayton area will soon see more chicken options in a market that is already a major area for competition.

Chick-fil-A has set the opening date of two Dayton-area restaurants as the competition among chicken chains heats up across southwest Ohio.

That comes after Mike’s Nashville Hot opened its first Dayton-area restaurant in the Austin Landing development in Miami Twp. (with plans for another coming soon) and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers told this news outlet it will enter the Dayton market in the coming months with at least two.

In addition, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is gearing up to more than double its footprint in the Dayton area as stalwarts Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken and KFC continue their presence in the area.
