There’s so much to love about Dayton. We could go on and on and on. 

This time, we want you to tell us your favorite things about life in Dayton.

The Dayton.com Best of 2018 poll continues through Dec. 26, and here is what you need to know to get involved and be part of the vote. 

This is your chance to celebrate your favorites in just about every aspect of Dayton life and possibly even settle some longstanding arguments amongst family and friends.

ABOUT THE POLL 

The Best of Dayton poll gives you the chance to help us determine the best of the best in the Gem City.

This year, we will have a new and improved user experience. 

We will have more than 130 categories in the areas of:

• Food and Dining
• Bars and Nightlife
• Outdoors, Active Lifestyle and Recreation
• Shopping
• Services
• Culture, Music and Entertainment

Here’s how to get involved in the fun:

1. NOMINATE YOUR FAVORITES

Public nominations were accepted from Nov. 5-26, 2018. We received more than 100,000 nominations. THANK YOU!!!

The Dayton.com team used these nominations to assemble the final ballot.

2. CAST YOUR VOTES

The polls opened on Dec. 5, 2018, and will close on Dec. 26, 2018. 

During this time frame, you can cast your vote in all categories, or as many categories as you’d like.

The poll is interactive, customizable and easy to use. It even makes social media sharing a piece of cake.

3. SPREAD THE WORD

The best part of this poll is the community conversation. If you’re a nominee, spread the word to all of your family, friends and customers and rally your troops for support. We want everyone to know about Best of Dayton and to get involved.
