How to have your say in the next Best of Dayton contest

It’s time once again to celebrate the Best of Dayton.  

This year, more than ever, we want to shine the spotlight on the best things about living in this gem of a city.

Dayton.com’s annual people’s choice contest is just around the corner. 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Best of Dayton voting will begin Jan. 7th, 2020. 

But before we get to the voting, we need your help NOW to create the ballot.

HERE’S HOW TO GET INVOLVED

☑️NOMINATE ALL OF YOUR FAVORITES

Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, members of the community are invited to suggest the people, places, dishes and drinks they think should appear on the ballot in more than 150 categories including Best Burger, Best Donuts, Best Coffee, Best Dayton-made Beer and Best Pizza.

❓How do you submit nominations?

Visit Dayton.com/bestofdayton and follow the instructions on how to get started. Nominations will only be accepted here.

The only thing you need to participate is a valid email address.

❓How many nominations can you submit?

Nominations are unlimited. Visit us every day, or as often as you can, and get your family and friends to join the fun.

The more you nominate, the better their chances. 

And yes, you can nominate yourself or your business. 

The Best of Dayton page makes it easy to share on Facebook and show your favorites some love.

❓What’s the deadline for nominations?

Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 15, 2019.

❓Who gets on the final ballot? 

Your top nominations will help the Dayton.com team determine the final ballot. 

The Dayton.com team will review nominations for accuracy and relevance and advance the top nominees to the ballot.

❓When will we know who makes the ballot?

Voting will begin on Monday, Jan. 7, 2020

You will be able to see all of the finalists at that time and vote in as few or as many categories as you would like.

You can submit one vote per contest per day.

The voting process also will be interactive, customizable and easy to use.
