Artist Mike Major has created a sculpture of Abraham Lincoln at his studio in Urbana. The statue will be dedicated on the Dayton VA Medical Center campus on Memorial Day weekend. Majorâs sculpture depicts a seated Lincoln, pen in hand, with legislation he has signed establishing the National Soldierâs and Sailorâs Asylum to care for veterans. LISA POWELL / STAFF
