The proposal by the Dayton company calls for the billboard to be 22 feet, 4 inches high, 40 feet long and five feet wide, according to the Miami Twp. application.

A digital billboard is permitted in that area of the general aviation airport under land use changes approved by the township that took effect earlier this year.

At the time the land use changes were proposed by the city of Dayton - which owns the airport – township officials said any billboard would likely be similar to those around the Dayton Mall.

The project has been approved by the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration, according to documents.

The proposal is set to go before the township’s zoning commission next month, records show.
