Animal Planet has held Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday for the past 13 years. The competition features 90 adoptable puppies from 48 shelters and rescues nationwide competing for the Chewy.com Lombarky Trophy, the Most Valuable Puppy title and their “furever” homes.

“We are thrilled to share that all three have found their forever homes, so regardless if Team Ruff or Team Fluff wins on Feb. 4, all of our pups are winners,” said Meg Stephenson, Animal Friends Humane Society’s executive director.
Teddy, Boomer and Bubbles were born to three different unclaimed moms who arrived at Animal Friends Humane Society as strays. This isn’t the first time a Butler County puppy has competed in the event. In 2016, terrier mix Rugby played for Team Fluff in Puppy Bowl XII

Located at 182o Princeton Road in Hamilton, Animal Friends Humane Society is Butler County’s largest and oldest nonprofit animal shelter. On a typical day it houses between 200 and 300 animals.
“We are the only open admission shelter in Butler County,” Stephenson said. “Local support helps the near 7,000 animals we serve a year.”
