A Chicago woman is accused of sexually assaulting her 16-month-old son in her home last year, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Alyssa Waldon, 30, was charged with felony predatory criminal sexual assault, according to Chicago police.
During a court hearing Thursday, prosecutors said the toddler's father called authorities after walking into a room Jan. 8 and witnessing Waldon assaulting the child after a shower, the Tribune reported.
Members of a U.S. marshal's fugitive task force located Waldon on Wednesday afternoon, WGN reported.
Waldon was denied bail and will appear again in court Feb 5, the Tribune reported.
