Florida mother allegedly attacks student, warns others to ‘beware’

A Florida mother tried to teach her daughter’s rival a lesson by hitting her and destroying her car, police said.

Ernstlatta LaFrance, 30, showed up at her daughter's school to confront the teen. She knocked the girl's phone away before hitting her, the Miami Herald reported.

The teen then showed up at LaFrance’s house in Opa-locka. LaFrance destroyed the teen’s car with an ax and broke her finger with a stick, the Herald reported.

LaFrance’s partner, Erlisa Evans, came out of the home and fired three gunshots into the air, police said.

The mom posted a video of the fight to Facebook, which she “warned those messing with her daughter to beware,” the Herald reported.

LaFrance was charged with strong-armed robbery, child abuse and aggravated battery.

Evans was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and firing a gun in public.
