The event will feature fine arts created by 97 artists working in ceramics, digital art, fiber/leather, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, works on paper and wood creations.

Visitors to the virtual festival will be able to visit the event gallery to browse the artworks and to purchase directly from each artist.
Rosewood Arts Centre will present daily special programs through the festival website, including live Art on the Commons artist interviews; demonstrations in sewing, ceramics, drawing; a live raku firing; and interactive kids activities with materials easily found at home.

Virtual festival goers also can vote for their favorite artists to help three of them win a $100 People’s Choice Award, presented by the Joan W. McCoy Memorial Fund.

This year’s jurors included Ian MacKenzie-Thurley, the Fitton Center for Creative Arts executive director, Hamilton; Kate Huser Santucci, Dayton artist and Rosewood Arts Centre instructor; and Kettering Arts Council member Elom Dossa, who selected participants from over 150 entries.
Participating artists from the Miami Valley include the 2020 Art on the Commons featured artist Dan Cleary, as well as Stephanie Beiser, Dawna Boehmer, David and Sandra Brand, Allison Fawcett, Kate Lally, Debbie and Mike McGinnis, Greg Neal, Daniel Powers, Yetunde Rodriguez, Jeff Smith and Sharon Stolzenberger.
Artists from California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York and South Carolina also will participate.
